This is the inside of the Custom House which was built at Exeter Quay in 1680 to house officials who collected taxes on traded goods. It is often regarded as the oldest Custom House in Britain and has some very fine architecture, including three intricate plaster ceilings dating back to 1639-1727. When this panorama was taken in 2014 it was occupied by a company specialising in high quality hand made textiles.
