Westminster Bridge links the Embankment in Westminster with Lambeth across the River Thames. It is in the heart of London and surrounded by numerous major London landmarks and attractions. On the western end of Westminster Bridge you can see the Houses of Parliament (Palace of Westminster) and next to it St Stephens Tower, which contains Big Ben. Clockwise from here is Portcullis House, the new office building for MPs. Below this is Westminster Pier, where pleasure cruise ships is dock to pick up passenger for river cruises down the River Thames to Greenwich.

Downriver is the Hungerford Bridge, a train a pedestrian bridge which links Charing Cross station near Trafalgar Square with the South Bank. Dominant on the South Bank is the famous London Eye attraction, and next to it the London Aquarium. Between the two is the Dali Exhibition. Continuing round is St Thomas' Hospital and the view continues round across Lambeth and down the Albert Embankment to Lambeth Bridge. From there the view finishes up back at the Victoria Tower Gardens, which are next to the Palace of Westminster.
